STEM - STEM stands for Science, Technology Engineering Mathematics and is a joint effort among the Ohio Board of Regents, Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Legislature to improve the teaching of science and mathematics while encouraging Ohio's students to pursue fields of study in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
GEAR UP - Eight lighthouse programs are guiding all Ohio communities to comprehensive strategies for increasing the number of students who aspire to, prepare for and successfully experience college.

STARS - The Student Achievement in Research and Scholarship Program (STARS) is an undergraduate program designed to prepare high acheiving, underrepresented minority students (African-American, Hispanic/Latino, and Native American) for graduate school, and ultimately, for a career in the professoriate, preferably at an Ohio college or university.
Ohio Learning Network - OLN helps Ohioans find educational programs that meet their needs, works with colleges and universities using technology to improve teaching and learning, and helps build partnerships among higher education, schools, businesses, and communities.
Tech Prep - Ohio College Tech Prep engages educators, employers and communities to serve students through a rigorous sequence of education leading to a postsecondary degree and new economy employment.
Student Access & Success - This site provides information about the Student Access and Success Coordinating Council of Ohio as well as other projects and initiatives from across Ohio pertaining to student access to and successful participation in postsecondary education. It is targeted to those individuals who work directly with college access programs and their partners in PreK-16, local, business and community programs.
Improving Teacher Quality - The Improving Teacher Quality State Grants Program is funded under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 (Title II, Part A of Public Law 107-110). The purpose of the program is to increase the academic achievement of all students by helping schools and school districts improve teacher, instructional paraprofessional and principal quality.
Carl D. Perkins - The Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act of 2006 provides an increased focus on the academic achievement of career and technical education students, strengthen the connections between secondary and postsecondary education, and improve state and local accountability.
SAMEPAC - The Science & Mathematics Education Policy Advisory Council develops findings and makes policy recommendations to the Governor, to the Chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents and to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction respecting improvements in the P-16+ education system for mathematics and science education.
Accountability (Learning Accountability & Productivity in Higher Education) - This site features the efforts and promotes the goals of the Committee on Higher Learning Accountability and Performance, convened by the Ohio Board of Regents in June 2005 to promote an atmosphere of responsiveness to issues concerning assessment and accountability among Ohio's colleges and universities.
